with the application of sheet metal, higher precision sheet metal design has become a very key part of the product research and development process. mechanical engineers must be skilled in sheet metal design, so the design appearance of sheet metal meets the characteristics of equipment, but it also makes the die much easier and less costly to manufacture. New sheet metal processes, from design onward: design, fiber laser cutting, bending, and electric welding/bolting.
(1) the stamping parts designed must meet the equipment application and process characteristics, and can be conducive to assembly and mechanical and electrical maintenance.
(2) The designed laser cutting of pipes must be conducive to improving the utilization rate of metals, reducing the varieties and specifications of raw materials, and minimizing the consumption of raw materials. Where permissible, select high-quality, cost-effective raw materials and strive to ensure that part production yields zero waste and minimizes scrap.
(3) the designed stamping parts must be simple in appearance and reasonable in structure, so as to simplify the mold design and the total number of technological processes, that is, to process all parts with at least a very simple stamping and adding process, and to reduce the use of other methods of processing, and is conducive to the actual operation of stamping processing, is conducive to the establishment of mechanical automation and automated production, in order to improve labor efficiency.
(4) For stamped parts, while ensuring normal functionality, the dimensional accuracy grade and surface roughness requirements should be as low as possible, facilitating interchangeability, reducing scrap, and maintaining consistent product quality.
(5) the design of stamping parts should be conducive to the use of the original machinery and equipment, sheet metal numerical control stamping process weapons and production processes to process it as much as possible, and is conducive to the increase of the service life of cold stamping dies.
