The rolling cutting method is to use a pair of disc cutting blades with opposite rolling directions to cut the sheet metal. According to the disc configuration, it can be divided into three modes: straight configuration, inclined straight configuration and inclined configuration. Straight configuration is suitable for cutting sheet metal into strips or square blanks into round blanks in hardware processing, oblique straight configuration is suitable for cutting ring blanks or round inner holes, and oblique configuration is suitable for cutting blanks with arbitrary curved contours.

1. Oblique shear sheet
Oblique shear is the most widely used in curve profile sheet shear. Before cutting the plate, install the upper and lower disc cutting blades obliquely, and set the intersection angle of the upper and lower cutting blades to 25 degrees. The rotational speed ratio and the hob clearance are then adjusted according to the sheet thickness.

2. Straight configuration shear sheet
When using straight configuration shear sheet, first install the upper and lower hob axes in the middle, and the gap between the upper and lower cutting edges is generally 0.05-0.5mm, or the upper and lower cutting edges are set to slightly overlap, so that the overlap height h is generally only 0.2-0.3 times the thickness of the plate.

3, oblique configuration shear accuracy requirements
When using disc rolling shear curve profile, the radius of the blank is limited, the minimum radius of curvature is related to the diameter of the cutting edge and the thickness of the plate. Moreover, when the parallel line material is rolled and cut by the circular disc, its minimum width error is also limited.
